Temp Van Driver – Radcliffe (M11 area)

Adecco is recruiting for a Temp Van Driver for a client in the M11 area on the 4th December. The role involves delivering bread, pastries, ice cream, cakes, etc. to restaurants, cafes, houses, pubs, bars, hotels, and other customers.

Details:

• Thursday 4th December 2025
• Route usually takes 5–8 hours
• Clean Driving License required

Responsibilities:

• Collecting and delivering packages and goods to designated locations.
• Planning daily delivery routes to ensure efficiency and timely service.
• Loading and unloading items securely and safely.
• Conducting daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and report any issues.
• Providing excellent customer service at all delivery points.
• Maintaining accurate delivery records and obtaining signatures where required.
• Adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Reporting any delivery problems or delays promptly.
• Keeping the vehicle clean and tidy.

Requirements:

• Valid UK driving license (no more than 6 points)
• Previous experience as a delivery driver preferred.
• Good geographical knowledge of Manchester and surrounding areas is advantageous.
• Ability to lift moderate weights and work independently.
• Friendly and professional attitude essential.

Van Driver and Warehouse Operative – Salford Quays

Role: Van Driver & Warehouse Operative.

Location: Salford Quays. Work Pattern: 37.5 Hours per week. Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 6:30 pm. Salary: £26,000 per year.

Schedule: 3 days driving (8 am–6 pm) and 2 days warehousing (9 am–3 pm). Onsite only.

Responsibilities:

• Safely collect and deliver goods to designated locations.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes in compliance with traffic laws and company procedures.
• Load and unload items with care, ensuring proper handling.
• Keep the vehicle clean and well‑maintained, reporting any issues promptly.
• Warehouse duties including collating bulk orders for delivery.

Requirements:

• Valid UK driver’s licence (maximum of 3 penalty points).
• Previous experience in a delivery or driving role desirable.
• Reliable, punctual, capable of working independently.
• Physically able to handle goods of varying sizes and weights safely.

7.5 Ton / LGV C1 Delivery Driver – Wigan (Greater Manchester)

Position: 7.5 Ton/LGV C1 Delivery Driver; work as part of a 2‑man team. Location: Wigan, Greater Manchester (WN5 area). Pay: £8.00 per hour, paid weekly.

Type: Full‑time, Permanent (or temp‑perm/Ad Hoc shifts to suit availability). Start Time: 6:00 am. Shift Length: 12 hours (with overtime available).

Responsibilities:

• Manual handling with support from a driver’s mate.
• Ensure safe and timely deliveries.

Requirements:

• Valid 7.5 T (C1) licence, CPC & Digital Tachograph Card.
• Physically fit and team‑oriented.
• Maximum 6 points on licence.
• 6 months commercial driving experience.

Full‑time, consistent hours usually 11.5 hours per day or ad‑hoc shifts to suit.
