A healthcare provider is looking for an Associate Specialist / Specialty Doctor to join their team in Brighton, delivering high-quality clinical care within the eating disorder service. Join the CYPMHS team at the Brighton and Hove Clinic as an Associate Specialist / Specialty Doctor on a 9‑month fixed‑term contract, contributing to the delivery of high‑quality clinical care within the eating disorder service under the guidance of the responsible clinicians.
In this role, you will provide clinical assessment, review, and evaluation to young people under the care and treatment of the hospital ensuring that all treatment plans are fully adhered to. Working 37.5 hours a week, you will take a specific focus on physical health, food and fluids and risk management across the ward working closely with the Consultant, ward manager, and wider MDT.
You will be working alongside Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists at Brighton & Hove Clinic, as well as the wider MDT of which they form an integral part. There is a regular multi-disciplinary team meeting daily and weekly so that care and treatment is adequately planned. The team has dedicated administrative support which is based within the hospital.
