Job summary

A retail company in Marlborough is seeking a full-time Country Store Assistant to serve customers both in person and over the phone. Job description

We are looking to recruit a Country Store Assistant to join the busy team at Marlborough, serving our customers both by phone and in person.

Hours:

Full-time position, working 5 days in 7 on rota basis.

Monday - Friday 8am-5:30pm, Saturday 8am-4pm, Sunday 9am – 3pm

Key Duties will Include:
  • All aspects of stock handling including stock taking, quality checking and stock ordering
  • Processing customer payments using the till
  • Assisting customers in finding products they are looking for; providing advice and recommendations where appropriate
  • Help resolve any customer issues
  • Deal with customers face-to-face, by phone and other e-methods
The Ideal Applicant:

We are looking for an individual who:

  • possesses good numeracy and literacy skills,
  • is a team player, but also able to work comfortably on your own
  • Previous retail experience is an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided for the right person.
