Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Pay Rate: £12.90 (Days) – £13.76 (Nights) per hour

Hours: 5 shifts per week, including weekends

Role Overview: HRGO Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver on behalf of our client based in Chartham, Canterbury. This is an excellent temporary‑to‑permanent opportunity for a reliable, safety-focused individual looking to join a fast‑paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance forklifts to load and unload pallets of fruit
• Safely move stock throughout the warehouse and yard
• Assist with general warehouse duties, including stock control and inventory management
• Ensure all forklift operations comply with health & safety regulations and company procedures

What We Are Looking For

• Must hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
• Proven experience operating forklifts within a warehouse or logistics environment
• Strong team player with good communication skills
• Reliable, hardworking, and detail‑oriented
• Willing to assist with manual handling tasks when required
• Own transport is preferable due to the location of the site
