A local government authority is seeking a Contract & Supply Analyst to join its Digital, Technology & Innovation Team on a 12-month secondment. We’re looking for a Contract & Supply Analyst to join our Digital, Technology & Innovation (DTI) Team on a 12 month secondment.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring that our organisation’s supplier relationships and contractual agreements are optimised for compliance, cost-effectiveness, and strategic value.
As a Contract & Supply Analyst, you will research suppliers, develop, and prepare contracts and monitor the contract lifecycle. You will evaluate and recommend appropriate procurement methods, minimising legal, financial and operational risks through strong compliance and contract governance and ensure timely contract renewals, avoiding disruptions.
The successful applicant will build stronger partnerships with suppliers, drive efficiency and cost reductions via strategic negotiations and supplier performance improvements. They will provide actionable insights that influence sourcing strategies and long-term business goals.
We’re looking for someone who:
Experience in procurement, financial transaction management, or local government processes would be an advantage.
