Job summary

A healthcare community is seeking a dedicated caregiver to provide personal care to Long-Term Care residents. Responsibilities include implementing individualized care plans, assisting with daily living activities, and supporting the nursing staff. Ideal candidates will have strong time management skills, experience with seniors, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Qualifications

• Comfortable with electronic charting and communication.
• Experience working with seniors with complex health concerns is an asset.
• Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
• Current Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector component required.
• Current TB skin test and COVID-19 vaccination are required.

Responsibilities

• Implement the plan of care for assigned residents.
• Assist with personal care activities like bathing and grooming.
• Observe and report changes in residents' conditions.
• Assist in providing Restorative Care nursing therapy.
• Support the overall Program/Activity process.
• Participate in resident care conferences as required.
