Job summary

A leading care provider in Loughborough is looking for a Domestic Assistant to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents. You will be responsible for cleaning bedrooms, communal areas, and kitchens, following strict hygiene policies. The ideal candidate has good communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude. Experience in a domestic role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. This part-time position offers flexible shifts on a rota basis.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar domestic or cleaning role is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness and safety of the home/unit.
• Clean and maintain designated areas to a high standard.
• Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
• Adhere to infection control policies and COSHH regulations.
• Report hazards, damages, or maintenance needs.
• Assist with laundering service users' clothing and bedding.
• Maintain a friendly relationship with residents.
