What You’ll Be Doing

As a Commercial Gas Safe Field Service Engineer, you will maintain, service, and repair gas-fired industrial food processing equipment at customer sites across the UK and Ireland. You’ll ensure gas systems operate safely, efficiently, and in line with regulations—delivering exceptional service and support.

• Perform scheduled service, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial gas systems (CDGA1/CIGA1)
• Respond to breakdowns, identify faults quickly, and implement effective solutions
• Commission new gas-fired systems in food processing environments
• Complete service documentation, safety checks, and compliance reports
• Communicate clearly with customers about findings, solutions, and preventive maintenance
• Collaborate with internal teams and contractors to ensure seamless service delivery
• Promote and maintain a strong safety-first culture aligned with JBT Marel’s zero-accident policy

• CDGA1 and/or CIGA1 Gas Safe certification (essential)
• Proven experience servicing or commissioning commercial gas systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a customer-focused mindset
• Comfortable working independently in the field
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel across the UK and Ireland with overnight stays
• Domestic Gas Safe candidates with relevant experience will be considered
