About the role - Coachbuilder

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Coachbuilder to join our busy mechanical engineering team in Taunton. We'll provide your overalls and equipment needed to get the job done.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting accident bodywork repairs
  • Windowrepairs
  • Diagnosing body faults
  • Performing collision andvandalism repairs
  • Addressing routine inspection findings and defect cards
  • Painting minor bodyworkrepairs
  • Handling fibreglass bodywork
  • Carrying out repairs and maintenance to interior body components
  • Documenting repairs for third-party insurance claims

Location: Taunton

Salary: £16.71 p/h - £33,887 p/a

Working Hours: 39 hours per week, day shiftsMonday–Friday

About you
  • Do you have a minimum level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent, with proven coach building experience?
  • Do you have welding experience?
  • Full driving licence is preferred
  • Have you working experience in vehicle accident repair and painting for PSV/HGV vehicles?
  • A PCV licence isn't essential, we can support you in gaining it
