Job summary

A leading manufacturer in the automotive industry is seeking a CNC Setter/Programmer in Crewkerne. The role involves setting and operating CNC machines, following engineering drawings, and ensuring quality control. Candidates should have experience with Citizen Machines and ideally some programming skills. Qualifications

• Previous experience with Citizen Machines or similar sliding heads.

Location – Crewkerne

Working hours – 08.00-17.00 Mon-Fri + overtime

Hourly rate – up to £17.50ph dependent on background

Tasks:

• Set and operate several CNC Sliding head machines
• Produce parts contained within the job cards
• Follow engineering drawing and work within drawing tolerances
• Ensure the highest possible quality by carrying out scheduled quality checks

• Previous experience with Citizen Machines or similar sliding heads
• Be able to set CNC Machines within the required tolerances.
• Be able to program or partial program would be an advantage.
• Be able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role.
