We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Lead for Ruskin, our Inpatient Dementia assessment and treatment ward, based at the Carleton Clinic, Carlisle.
This vacancy includes an Attraction Incentive of £3000 (*, **).
Payment schedule:
* this will include a repayment clause if staff leave within 3 years (Appendix 1).
** Should this post be filled by a CNTW employee not currently working into inpatient services, the £3K Incentive payment may be applicable. This can be discussed in detail at interview.
Work within a multi-disciplinary team, developing collaborative, needs based care plans, through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation within an Inpatient setting.
Act as an identified deputy in the absence of the Ward Manager.
Facilitate and coordinate clinical practice, ensuring high standards of evidence based care and treatment.
Be visible and accessible to patients, families and carers working together to ensure efficient, effective and caring services.
Lead on the implementation of all performance indicators, essential standards and quality outcomes.
Develop and where appropriate deliver training packages to enhance the knowledge and skills of the workforce and students.
Facilitate staff appraisals and Clinical Supervision and support personal development plans.
Provide compassionate care that is based on empathy, kindness, respect and dignity.
