Clinical Application Specialist, Ultrasound – Scotland & North East England

Location: Glasgow, UK | Edinburgh, UK

We are seeking a Ultrasound Application Specialist to support the ultrasound portfolio covering key growth regions across Scotland and down to Newcastle. Living on territory in Scotland, you will be well versed in the Scottish market.

This is not a standard CAS role, this is extraordinary! You will serve as a trusted advisor to clinicians, leveraging hands-on sonography experience in collaborating, in partnership with sales, with UK Key Opinion Leaders (KOL’s) in Scotland and the wider UK.

Your responsibilities:

  • Acting as the knowledge point for customers to glean maximum value from Mindray general imaging ultrasound products
  • Provide expert clinical support across the Mindray ultrasound portfolio, including pre-sales demonstrations, system installations, and comprehensive customer training.
  • Coordinate and support clinical evaluations of new ultrasound systems and software features
  • Partner closely with the Scotland & North East England Region Sales Team to drive customer adoption, satisfaction, and long-term engagement with Mindray ultrasound solutions.
  • Build long-term relationships with KOLs to support clinical validation, feedback, and advocacy for new technologies.
  • Serve as a national clinical reference for General Imaging, offering expertise and support to strategic accounts, national workshops, and clinical education initiatives.
  • Collaborating with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), organizing and supporting KOL-led workshops, webinars, conference presentations and exhibitions, and supporting the development of clinical messaging and case studies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging clinical practices and technological developments in ultrasound, providing insights and feedback to internal product, marketing, and training teams.

What are we looking for in you?

  • DMU or PGDip in Ultrasound essential
  • Must hold HCPC registration or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a Clinical Application Specialist is beneficial; OR current GI Sonographer or Vascular Sonongrapher with strong NHS experience.
  • Highly organised, able to manage time independently across a large region.
  • Fluent in written and verbal English
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Willing to travel regularly within the region (70%), with occasional UK-wide and international travel to support key clinical, commercial, or educational activities.
  • Eligible to work in the UK without company sponsorship
