Job description

Equans is looking for a Cleaning Team Leader to join our team in Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth, Hampshire, PO6 3LY on a permanent basis. This is a full‑time role working 35 hours per week. Salary £28,082 per annum plus a benefits package.

Shift Pattern

Flexible working hours from 12:00 to 21:00 with one day off in the week. Working every other weekend.

What will you deliver?
  • Responsibility and supervision of housekeepers and patient services assistants daily, ensuring full cover is provided regarding duty rosters and allocation of work to ensure effective completion of duties in line with performance standards.
  • Supervision and control of standards of service delivered to the Trust at ward/departmental level, including delivery of cleaning, along with patient food and beverage service.
  • Interface and link between ward/departmental managers and services teams regarding reactive maintenance requests; ensuring staff in soft services are proactive in identifying and reporting maintenance defects as part of their daily duties.
