Job Title: Class Teacher (Full Time, Term Time – Permanent Position)

Salary: Up to £37,000 per annum (DOE)

Role Overview

We offer a broad and enriching curriculum to our students and currently require an enthusiastic and committed Class Teacher. You will have a flexible, creative and practical approach to learning and be responsible for developing individualized / small group programs. Class sizes are no more than 5 students, with dedicated TA support and you will be working as part of a multi‑disciplinary team.

The School

Cambian Home Tree School is an independent DfE‑registered, co‑educational day school which specialises in accommodating students who have Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties. The school typically caters for up to 25 students aged between 12‑18 years of age and each classroom features different learning environments for alternative ways of learning.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver effective teaching and learning outcomes for small groups and individual students, creating personalized learning plans, and collaborating with colleagues to support students with SEMH needs.

Requirements
  • Teaching qualification and experience.
  • Thorough understanding of the curriculum and effective teaching methodologies to meet the diverse needs of learners.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
