A leading energy company in the United Kingdom is looking for a Civil Project Engineer to drive forward innovative projects in the HVDC team. The role involves responsibility for Civil Engineering design on major projects, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. The successful candidate will have a relevant degree and demonstrate experience with digital platforms for design development. The position offers a competitive salary up to £65,000 along with flexible working patterns and comprehensive benefits.
Base Location: For this role, we require successful applicants to be based from one of our Scottish locations – Caithness, Western Isles, Inverness, Aberdeen, Glasgow or Perth

The role As part of SSEN Transmission Pathway to 2030 programme of works and beyond, we are looking for a Civil Project Engineer to join the HVDC team to help drive forward our projects and who can bring big ideas, new skills and innovative thinking to help us grow our teams to successfully deliver a network for Net Zero. Many of our projects are in the Highlands, Western Isles and Aberdeenshire, so a willingness to travel to that area or locally based engineers are desirable.
