Registered Manager – Childrens Residential Home (Bradford)

Salary: £38,000 – £48,000 + Bonus

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a brand-new service from the ground up, with full autonomy to shape the culture, build a strong team, and deliver exceptional outcomes for young people. You’ll be supported by an organisation dedicated to providing outstanding care and making a real difference in the lives of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the setup and Ofsted registration of a new childrens home
  • Lead and manage day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest standards of care and safeguarding
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff, fostering a positive and professional team culture
  • Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each child's needs
  • Maintain effective communication with children, families, staff, and external agencies
  • Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing support and development
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a management role within a childrens residential setting
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Children & Young People) or equivalent (ESSENTIAL)
  • Strong understanding of Ofsted frameworks and safeguarding legislation
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence & access to a vehicle
  • Enhanced DBS check (must be on the update service or willing to obtain)
  • Right to work full-time in the UK
