Childcare Early Years Educator – Keystone Bankers

Option to work either term‑time only or all year round.


Qualifications

Qualified Early Years Educator with either a BTEC/ CACHE/ NVQ Level 2 or 3 Diploma in childcare and early years education, or a BA in early years education from a UK or overseas university. Qualified Teaching Status (QTS), Montessori Teaching Qualification or BA in Education is also desirable.


Salary and Benefits

Starting salary: £25,000p.a. – £30,000p.a. (negotiable) plus excellent further training and career progression opportunities, paid holidays, and frequent pay reviews.


Responsibilities


  • Planning and implementing creative and learning activities for children in line with early years foundation stages, EYFS and different areas of learning.

  • Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play‑based learning.

  • Observe and assess children's progress, identifying areas for improvement or additional support.

  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's learning journey.

  • Maintain accurate records of each child's development and milestones.

  • Playing games with children and supervising play.
