Job description
Overview

Role: Chef Manager at Mount Charles Group. Location: Ballymena - Moy Park. Salary: £30000 per annum. 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7. This is a Cook Manager role based at Moy Park, Ballymena. Closing date: Wed 29 October 2025.

Responsibilities
  • You are a Chef that can produce great-tasting food, challenge standards, and ensure quality and consistency to company and brand specifications.
  • Ensuring the food service achieves maximum efficiency, achieving a high standard of customer satisfaction at all times.
  • Working with the General Manager to review menu costings and planning for seasonal business fluctuations.
  • Ensuring all bookwork is completed within agreed timescales and company requirements.
  • Ensuring all HACCP, Food Safety, and Health & Safety Legislation requirements are always adhered to.
  • Working as part of a team, you will provide an efficient and friendly service to customers, assisting as directed with all aspects of food preparation and presentation to high quality standards.
  • Maintain a hygienic and tidy environment; ensure tables, accompaniments and counters are kept clean and adequately supplied throughout the service period.
  • Complying with all company and legal procedures relating to food safety, hygiene, health and safety and personal requirements.
  • Ensure displays are stocked at the end of each shift.

  • Attention to detail in all aspects of the work.
  • 2 Years Experience in Similar Role
  • Food Hygiene Level 3 qualified

Requirements & Notices

Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day-to-day basis.
