A local government organization in Teignbridge is seeking a proactive Capital Project Accountant. This full-time position involves leading capital and Treasury activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations. £31,022 to £44,075 per annum (Career Grade) (the appointment shall be based on skills, qualifications and experience). 37 hours per week. This is a full-time position, however we applications from those who wish to work part-time or job share.
We are looking for a proactive and confident Capital and Projects Accountant to lead and manage the organisation’s capital and Treasury activities on behalf of the Head of Finance and Audit. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and effective strategic planning for capital resources.
Key responsibilities include maintaining the fixed asset register, managing capital charges and depreciation, and supporting teams with capital investment projects.
