Qualifications

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who can help accelerate our growth trajectory by driving new business and developing customer accounts. You will:

  • Grow a pipeline: identify and target new business opportunities, create demand generation campaigns in collaboration with marketing.
  • Win new business: lead the team of consultants, project managers and support staff that closes new business and helps you hit sales targets.
  • Cross‑sell and upsell: grow existing customers by closing cross‑sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Forecast and report accurately: provide accurate sales forecasts and regular reports highlighting pipeline health.
  • Cross‑functional collaboration: work closely with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Product) to ensure alignment on strategy and messaging.
About You

You are a huge sales professional looking for your next challenge. You work in technology, ideally selling managed services, business applications, or security, and have an impressive senior contact list. You are entrepreneurial, strategic, and an excellent negotiator.

Tech you have sold: Microsoft Dynamics, Business Central, Microsoft 365, Power BI, Business Process Mapping solutions, SharePoint, IT Managed Services, Cloud Solutions (AWS & Azure), Data Centre Services, IT Disaster Recovery, Cyber Security – SOC & MDR, Networking.

Core skills: Selling, Bid/Proposal Management, Stakeholder Relationship Management, Marketing Management, Budgeting & Forecasting.

Other Information

This is a full‑time, permanent position (37.5 hours per week). It is a hybrid role; you can be based in the Northeast, North of England, or Scotland. You will be assigned an office base; in‑person attendance at least once per month is required.
