Responsibilities
- As a Business Development Manager for the BES Asset Reliability sales team, you will be responsible for selling our range of Load Cell solutions, you will identify and deliver new long term strategic client relationships for the business. Working as part of the team you will proactively identify opportunities whilst undertaking strategic customer visits to bring on new customers as well as developing existing customer accounts and our agent networks.
- For this role you will be required to visit the Cowe's site at least once a week and will visit other customers when needed.
- Produce quotes and/or commercial and technical proposals to be presented to the customers by liaising with our engineer and production department
- Develop and implement a marketing strategy for different target markets and products
- Manage the entire sales process from finding leads, establishing contact, qualification through to award, working closely with the Sales support team, agent and client to close the order
- Engage with qualified prospects through direct meetings and continuous dialogue to create positive long term partnerships
- Maintain and develop customer relationships in assigned regions, or markets
- Ensure requests are responded to in a timely and professional manner, when required generate a quotation or commercial and technical proposals and forward the quotation to the appropriate sales team or customer directly as applicable
- Be responsible for ensuring CRM and other sales applications are accurately updated
- Lead generation through online and face to face routes
- Support Customer Services function as appropriate with regards to resolving any commercial or technical issues
- Attend key market exhibitions to promote products and identify opportunities

Qualifications
- Knowledge of load cell equipment or a background in an engineering/technical company would be a distinct advantage
- Previous experience in Offshore Wind, Marine and/or Renewables, Oil & Gas preferred
- Have the right attitude, aptitude and appetite for what we do
- Excel in relationship building, influencing and negotiating, owing to your strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess highly effective sales, communication and presentation skills
- Advanced user of MS office programmes
- An interest in online lead generation
- Ability to drive sales through digital marketing strategies
- Excellent influential communication skills: Interpersonal, presentation and written
- Proven ability to negotiate effectively and close deals
