Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver a range of Building Surveying services, including dilapidations, technical due diligence, design & contract administration, project management and employer’s agent duties.
- Produce defect analysis, schedules of condition, PPM reporting, and re‑instatement cost assessments.
- Ensure technical accuracy, quality and consistency across all project deliverables.
- Manage client relationships, ensuring delivery aligns with agreed timescales, budgets and expectations.
- Mentor Graduate and Building Surveyors, providing APC support and technical review.
- Contribute to business development, networking and client engagement to grow CHPK Group’s Building Surveying offering.
- Share knowledge and best practices to promote technical excellence across the company.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of legislation, regulations and industry standards.
- Prepare and present reports, specifications and cost estimates with professionalism and commercial awareness.
- Collaborate closely with Cost Consultancy, Project Management and Engineering teams to deliver integrated client solutions.

Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
- MRICS qualification (essential).
- Minimum 5 years post‑qualification experience within a consultancy environment.
- Proven experience delivering commercial building surveying services including dilapidations, technical due diligence and contract administration.
- Experience acting as Project Manager or Employer’s Agent.
- Strong working knowledge of JCT and NEC contract suites.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Deltek PIM is advantageous.
- Full UK driving licence.
