• Working hours: Monday to Thursday (8:00am-4:30pm), Fridays (8:00am-2:00pm)
• Rate of pay: Depending on experience
• Location: Chard
• Work type: Temporary to permanent

They offer a comprehensive service for all engineering needs and supply work to various industries including Retail, Railway, Electronics, Incubation, Restaurant, Hotel, and Vending.

The successful candidate will need strong mechanical abilities and experience operating press brake machinery.

Duties

• Operate press brake machinery to bend and shape sheet metal according to specifications.
• Set up tooling and adjust machine settings for different production runs.
• Finish edges of fabricated parts to meet quality standards.
• Grind and assemble components as required, ensuring precision and quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on brake press machines.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.

Role Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
