Here’s what you’ll deliver:
- Project a positive attitude for the benefit of our customers and our junior employees.
- Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards using manufacturer repair instructions when ever available (ask production manager for them before work starts.
- Immediately notifies Body Shop Advisor when additional work is needed.
- Examine all vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
- Perform all work as outlined on the front of the repair order and as authorized on the back, with efficiency and accuracy, and in accordance with company and factory standards.
- Ensure that all work performed is thorough, accurate, and completed in a timely fashion.
- Work effectively without supervision.
- Supervise work of all apprentice technicians or students; report immediately any deficiencies to the Production Manager.
- Attend factory-sponsored training classes as scheduled by management.
- Attend dealer-specified training courses as scheduled by management.
- Keep abreast of all factory technical bulletins.
- Learn and understand all current and emerging technologies as they apply to automobile service.
- Maintain a high degree of concentration to prevent “comebacks”.
- Ensure that customer cars are kept as clean or cleaner than when they arrived, both inside and out.
- Keep the shop area neat and clean at all times.
- Clean bay and bench at the end of each shift.
- Dispose of garbage, recycling, etc. as required.
- Understand and follow federal, provincial, and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes.
- Other duties as required by management.
What you need to succeed:
- Body Shop Technician, fully licensed (310B).
- 3-5 years experience with auto body repairs.
- Experience with Insurance Collision Repair and Pre‑owned reconditioning work.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn and succeed.
- Must be team oriented, hardworking with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work overtime when required.

Job Type: Full Time - Permanent
Compensation (expected hourly wage): $34.00 - $36.00 per hour. The starting rate will be set within this range based on job-related factors such as relevant skills and experience.
