You will be providing key input into the development of project models and procedures, in line with BS EN ISO 19650, as well as validating information management processes, other systems and tools, and the digital coordination of the project data assigned to you.

You will
  • Support project teams and contractors in establishing and maintaining the Common Data Environment (CDE) using Autodesk Construction Cloud, while helping build confidence in digital systems and workflows through training and guidance.
  • Shape and maintain model-driven information requirements, including contractual obligations and exchange information needs, working collaboratively with the supply chain to develop practical modelling solutions.
  • Act as a key point of contact for model coordination and validation, ensuring consistent handling of sensitive information and supporting the effective sharing of data across projects.
  • Lead 3D coordination and clash detection meetings, verifying and federating model and asset data from external partners, and ensuring alignment across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to digital innovation and transformation, supporting the development of frameworks like Level of Information Need and helping to research and implement new ways of working that enhance quality and efficiency.
You have
  • Knowledge of ISO 19650, the UK BIM Framework guidance, and industry recognised best practices and processes for information management, with a particular focus on collaboration platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or BIM 360. Awareness of other common data environments is equally valued.
  • Experience in model management and clash detection would be beneficial, especially with authoring, checking, and validating model data in tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and Navisworks. This includes familiarity with Autodesk’s Interoperability Tools and their application.
  • Confidence in collating and organising data in a COBie enabled format to support asset management, including an understanding of Level of Information Need methodologies as set out in ISO 7817-1:2024.
  • Awareness of visualisation software and technologies that can inspire and enable digital transformation.
  • Interest in data interrogation and reporting through platforms such as Power BI. Skills or knowledge in coding languages such as C#, Python, or similar would also be seen as an advantage.
