We are looking for a Behaviour Support Worker to join our dedicated team at ABL Health, a values-driven organisation committed to reducing health inequalities and improving lives through community-based support.
Youll be part of an experienced and supportive team deliveringpersonalised, one-to-one support to children and young people across a varietyof settings: at home, in schools, and within the community. Our clients may beexperiencing a range of needs, including suspected or diagnosed neurodiversity,mental health challenges, trauma, and behaviours considered complex orhigh-risk.

Within this role, you will build trustingrelationships with children, young people, and their families, deliveringstructured support plans tailored to each individuals needs. You will workclosely with clinicians and support colleagues to ensure a joined-up,consistent approach, contributing to assessments and interventions under theguidance of our Clinical Lead. You will promote positive behaviour, emotionalresilience, and personal development in young people, while maintainingaccurate and professional records using digital tools and systems. This is avaried and rewarding position, ideal for someone with confidence in workingindependently whilst also valuing team collaboration.
About the role
As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will beworking within the Intensive Personalised Support (IPS) team. IPS are anexperienced and supportive team, and as a staff member, you will collaborate indelivering personalised, one-to-one support to children and young people acrossa variety of settings: at home, in schools, and within the community. Ourclients may be experiencing a range of needs, including suspected or diagnosedneurodiversity, mental health challenges, trauma, and behaviours considered as complexor high-risk.
In this role, you will:
Deliver personalised support based on aChild or Young Persons (CYP) support plan.
Aid in promoting individualsindependence based on their level of need.
Assist individuals in accessing thecommunity.
Help in updating support plans andproviding essential observations based on first-hand experience with theclient.
Report on medical and welfare needs ofclients as necessary.
Monitor individuals presentation andreport concerns to senior team members or management.
Provide accurate notes that capture anhonest depiction of a session with a client for record-keeping purposes.
Update support plans and riskassessments based on any new observations of the CYP.
Work flexibly throughout varying hours,including evenings and weekends.
Actively safeguard the individuals wesupport.
