As a Behavior Technician (BT) at New Story Schools, you’ll provide one-on-one and small-group support to students in home and community settings. You’ll implement individualized plans that build academic, social, and life skills, helping each learner grow in confidence and independence. Working within a collaborative, mission-driven team, you’ll play a vital role in creating meaningful progress for students with special needs.

What You’ll Need
  • Associate’s degree or a minimum of 48 semester credit hours from an accredited institution
  • At least three months of professional or internship experience supporting individuals with behavioral or learning differences
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and active auto insurance coverage
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educators
  • Ability to remain patient, adaptable, and professional in dynamic learning environments

  • Deliver individualized instruction based on each student’s IEP goals
