The Children’s Rapid Response Service have an exciting opportunity as it continues to expand the team. The Children’s Rapid Response Service works collaboratively with the Community Children’s Nursing & Palliative Care Team:It is the team’s primary aim to prevent and reduce hospital attendances, admissions and length of stay for children already known to the Community Children’s Nursing & Palliative Team.
The emphasis of this service is to improve the quality of life for children and families with life limiting, palliative or complex healthcare needs, offering them greater choice around their chosen place of care.
Are you an enthusiastic, dynamic, flexible and motivated experienced Nurse or.teacher Practitioner, with a strong knowledge of Children’s Nursing? Clinical expertise and good communication skills are required as well as excellent time management百分percent and prioritisation skills which are essential for this role. We are looking for experienced children’s nurses that have extensive experience in assessment with children with complex health care needs, Ideally the suitable candidate would hold, or be willing to work towards obtaining the independent Non-Medical Prescribing qualification /Txt Assessment Course.
You must have the ability to prioritise your workload using advanced assessment skills with the ability to provide a symptom management plan of care to children/young people during times of acute deterioration or illness.
