Associate Director – Infrastructure Engineer

RSK LDE (Land and Development Engineering), part of the RSK Group, is recruiting for an Associate Director – Infrastructure Team Lead to head the new regional Yorkshire office. The role is full‑time and permanent, based at Wigan with the opportunity to recruit and establish your own design team. You will lead the team, support key projects, deliver high‑quality results to clients, and develop junior staff.

Responsibilities
  • Manage, lead and deliver department workloads on all projects utilising team members, on time and on budget.
  • Liaise with the Regional Director on preparation of the annual Business Plan and Sales Forecast.
  • Liaise with the Regional Director and Administrator on monthly invoicing, ensuring sales targets are met.
  • Carry out department PDRs and have regular one‑to‑one discussions with team members, providing feedback to the Regional Director.
  • Provide a single point of contact within RSK for team projects.
  • Provide Expert Witness service where required.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Working knowledge of software used for design in the field.
  • Project management skills using RSK procedures.
  • Understand and implement Designer’s duties under the CDM Regulations 2015.
  • Working knowledge of the legislation and technical/design standards in the field.
  • 10+ years experience in a relevant role.
  • Educated to degree or HNC level.
  • Chartered or Incorporated member of an Institution relevant to the field (e.g., ICE, IStructE, CIWEM, CIOB) preferable but not essential.
