Job description

The Havant and Petersfield Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service are excited to invite applications for a Band 4 assistant Psychologist. This is a great opportunity to join our team in Children & Families Service line to support in the delivery of high-quality children’s mental health services.

The successful candidate will have a keen interest in working collaboratively with children and families and with partner agencies to promote positive outcomes for children and families accessing our service.

You will have a role in supporting and enhancing the professional psychological care of clients within the Havant and Petersfield Community Child and Adolescent mental health service (CAMHs), providing psychological assessment and psychological interventions under the supervision of qualified professional psychologists, working independently according to a plan agreed with a qualified psychologist and within the overall framework of the Community CAMHs 'policies and procedures.

You will assist in clinically related administration, conduct of audits, collection of statistics, development of audit and/or research projects, teaching and project work.
