Assistant Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner – Cheltenham

Are you interested in a career with an established NHS Talking Therapies service based in Gloucestershire? If you are dedicated, organised and passionate about mental health, we are excited to offer an Assistant Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner role to support our dedicated therapy team in providing Low Intensity Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) to the people of Gloucestershire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist PWPs in co‑facilitating face‑to‑face and online psycho‑educational courses to patients across the county.
  • Assist in administrative tasks such as writing referrals, clinical notes and collecting data & feedback from patients.
  • Develop our service by performing outreach to local teams within the trust, as well as external agencies and stakeholders such as GPs and local community groups.
Benefits & Working Pattern
  • Flexible working arrangements within 37.5 hours per week, with core service hours of 8am‑8pm. Some evening work will be required.
  • Hybrid working pattern – staff can request to work from home on completion of local induction and line manager discretion. The successful candidate will be expected to work out of our Cheltenham base for at least part of the working week.
  • Regular opportunities for Continuing Professional Development, reflective practice in clinical supervision and fully funded access to the Bespoke training service.
