We are currently recruiting for an experienced Asset Analyst to join our Property Team. To be considered for this post you must be able to demonstrate strong analytical skills and excellent data management, along with the ability to translate/manipulate complex data into actionable reports/insights.

The role will involve working with the Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) and Supplier Manager to capture and manage property asset data as part of Maintenance Strategy. Maintain the integrity and Property asset/equipment information contained in Planon for the organisation. This includes auditing, reporting, updating and working with internal/external stakeholders to deliver this function. Owning the import and export of all property asset/equipment data, including monitoring Matrix teams' adherence to programs, collating and reporting MI for the Property Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the key stakeholder for The Salvation Army CAFM system Planon, in relation to asset data, providing data/reporting to colleagues and senior leaders on a regular basis. You will oversee quality assurance of the asset data held in Planon, by auditing what is imported into the system and the ongoing controlled management of this data.
  • Periodically review data, which will include undertaking pre‑and post‑inspection of data to ensure high levels of quality control at all times.
  • Maintain rigorous controls for the organisation, in the control, capture and interrogation of property data.
  • Ensure the asset data program and reports meet the operational needs and timelines.
  • Work with Programme Management Office with reporting trends and identify opportunities to develop reporting on performance indicators that highlight efficiencies, risks, subsequent mitigations and deliver continuous improvement.

The successful candidate(s) will have:

  • Strong experience of working successfully in a similar data/systems‑based role, with responsibility for ensuring the integrity of digital data held within a CAFM system, for an extensive and varied property portfolio.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to import/export data, interrogate and audit data, identify risks, and operate risk mitigation processes to ensure high data quality and accuracy.
  • Strong experience of collating, preparing and presenting data required for MI reporting at all levels within a service, from Board level reports to weekly operational planning reports, to support decision‑making processes and service delivery.
  • Intermediate level Excel skills with knowledge and practical experience of formulas/functions such as VLOOKUPs, IF statements, pivot tables, data visualisation and validation.
  • Experience of working successfully with internal/external stakeholders to ensure objectives are met to the required timelines and quality standards.
  • Demonstrable strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to advise and guide, and work with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Strong practical experience of using PLANON or other CAFM systems (property database software), and Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint), Outlook, and Teams to enhance and improve the delivery of your duties.
