Job description

Due to the astounding success of the first 4 years in business Gravitate Accounting are looking for a talented Digital Accounting Apprentice to join their team. This is a fast paced and hungry accountancy practice and they need someone who will learn all about the ways they put people at the heart of the company’s success.

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands‑on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

• Work closely with our clients to make their lives easier
• Complete daily bookkeeping tasks so client records are up to date
• Basic level VAT preparation
• Prepare monthly management accounts
• Offer friendly Xero and App support to clients
• Research and promote technology to encourage automation
• Promote Gravitate Accounting on various social media platforms
• Full‑time opportunity for the right candidate upon completion of apprenticeship - further training can be offered

About the Training

Training will take place at First Intuition, Sheffield.

• An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation
• At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying
