Qualifications

• GCSE qualifications in Maths and English are required.
• AAT Level 3 and 4 qualifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping for clients, processing invoices and bank reconciliations.
• Assist with preparation of tax and VAT returns.
• Perform basic payroll duties and assist in preparing accounts.
• Handle company secretarial and general client queries.

Overview

Looking to develop a career in accountancy? You will learn the art of bookkeeping, assisting with the preparation of tax & VAT returns, management accounts, basic payroll duties, whilst also learning how to use accountancy software.

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping for clients (processing invoices, recording receipts, bank reconciliations)
• Assist with preparation of tax & VAT returns
• Perform basic Payroll duties
• Assist in preparation of Limited Company & Sole Trader accounts
• Assisting on audits
• Deal with company secretarial, confirmation statements & companies house forms
• Deal with general client queries to either conclusion or the point of escalation
• Assist in clocking in system monitoring
