Job Overview

As an Audit and Accounting Trainee at Robson Laidler, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the exciting worlds of audit, business innovation, and healthcare finance. Technical Responsibilities

Assist in Audit engagements – you will gain an understanding of audit sufficient to allow for the completion of audit testing.

Support Business Innovation – you will be involved in the preparation of company accounts where you will also support business owners with VAT returns and book‑keeping. You will also develop an understanding of double entry accounting and of software systems such as Xero.

Assist the Healthcare accounting team – you will be involved in processing financial information, supporting the team with preparing working papers, and completing basic book‑keeping. You will have opportunities to develop Xero skills and will gain an insight and understanding of the niche accounting area of GPs and Dentists.

Permanent, Full Time – 36.5 hours
