Qualifications

  • Provision of accurate information to assigned business partners.
  • Bank control for assigned entities.
  • Development through professional studies and work experience.

What we are looking forWe are looking for an Apprentice Accounts Assistant to give assistance in all aspects of the Finance Department and in the process gain a thorough and well-rounded experience of the whole function. The candidate must be willing to complete the AAT qualification for which full study support will be offered.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the production of timely and accurate monthly management accounts for entities as assigned by the Finance Manager.
  • Assist in the production of summary financials and commentary to support the consolidation of group numbers and flash reporting.
  • Reconciliation and substantiation of balance sheet accounts as assigned by the finance manager.
  • Raising risks and issues within balance sheet accounts, and ensuring appropriate measures are taken to resolve.
  • Building effective relationships with the business in order to maintain a strong financial control environment.
  • Continually strive for process improvement and efficiency, working cross functionally to ensure best practice is adopted.
  • Provision of accurate information to the assigned business partner for assigned entities.
  • Bank control for assigned entities.
  • Development of self through professional studies and work based experience.
