As a key member of the team, this role will be responsible for the management of new and existing API services offered by Swift.This role involves supporting and spearheading the development of new features, improving existing ones and ensuring the overall functionality of the API offerings with special focus on harmonization and standardization.Key Activities include:* Define API strategy and Roadmap in alignment with strategic business goals, identifying opportunities for harmonization, ecosystem development and usage growth.* Managing the full API lifecycle from ideation and design to development, launch and maintenance ensuring consistency, performance and security throughout.* Ensure a consistent Developer experience by overseeing comprehensive documentation, sandbox environments for testing, harmonized and consistent usage across various API offerings* Collaborate with Cross Functional teams to help translate high level business objectives into actionable technical requirements and implementation details. Coordinate with other internal teams to ensure development, deployment and maintenance of existing API offerings* Monitor and analyze key matrices such as uptime, latency, error rates and adoption data to inform decision-making, optimize the API and demonstrate its business value.* alignment with internal security policies and governance to ensure compliance and mitigate risksKey Skills and Qualifications* The PM must understand API fundamentals (REST, JSON), tools like Postman and technical specifications (like Open API).* 7+ years of experience in API product management, technology product development.* Experience and comfort adopting to work on different types of products* Proactive, self-started, team oriented, collaborative and adaptable with excellent presentation skills including strong oral and writing capabilities.* A deep understanding of developers and users, their pain points, and what constitutes a good developer experience is essential* Experience in and/or significant exposure to the payments, financial services, or technology sectors.* Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor and attention to detail.**What we offer***We give you the freedom to be yourself.
