Qualifications

  • Must have a Civil/Structural Engineering degree with anchorage design knowledge.
  • Experience in designing fastenings in reinforced concrete required.
  • Understanding of RCC and Eurocode standards is necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse and verify the consistency of technical input data.
  • Produce assumption notes, technical specifications, and calculation reports.
  • Coordinate the work of CAD Designers with the Design Office Manager.
  • Design structural fastenings into reinforced and pre-stressed concrete.
  • Perform technical verification of civil documentation.
  • Maintain and update the Design Risk Register.
  • Identify and propose technical solutions to engineering constraints.
  • Collaborate across teams to support compliant design development.

Skills

Civil/Structural Engineering degree
Anchorage design knowledge
Experience designing fastenings in reinforced concrete
Understanding of RCC and Eurocode standards
Working knowledge of ANSYS software
Experience managing design changes
Awareness of UK Health & Safety regulations
