Job summary

A multidisciplinary environmental consultancy based near Radbourne is seeking a skilled administration assistant. The role involves managing company vehicles, handling inquiries, and organizing meetings and travel arrangements. Candidates should possess strong IT skills, excellent time management, and have a valid UK driving license. Job description
Brindle & Green are a medium sized multidisciplinary environmental consultancy with their Head Office based in the countryside near Radbourne, Derbyshire.
We are currently seeking a proficient administration assistant to help in the day‑day management of the company’s business activities and control a small fleet of vehicles.

The role will include:

  • Arranging services and repairs for our Company vehicles
  • Dealing with queries over the phone and by email
  • Booking rooms for internal and external meetings
  • Arranging travel and accommodation
  • Compiling folders in advance of site visits
  • Production of risk assessments
  • Ordering company supplies as requested and approved
  • Ordering of workwear/ PPE
  • Printing and photocopying documents
  • You will need to have good IT skills and a sound knowledge of Microsoft packages.
  • Have good time management.
  • Be a team player.
  • Full UK driving licence (including ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles) is required.
  • Previous work in an office/admin environment is essential.

Hours: 8.00- 4.30pm, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Job Type: Full-time/Office based

Pay: £27,000 per annum

Education:

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

  • Administrative experience: 2 years (required)
