THE ROLE & WHY IT EXISTS

As an Account Manager, you will be the trusted advisor and main point of contact for our existing customers in the EMESA and DACH regions.

This isn’t a traditional sales role, instead, you’ll be the champion of long‑term success, guiding customers beyond API management toward broader digital strategy alignment.

You’ll build strong, consultative relationships and work cross‑functionally to ensure customers are realising maximum value from Gravitee’s platform, while uncovering opportunities to deepen the partnership.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
  • Own and grow relationships with a portfolio of key existing customers across the EMESA and DACH regions.

  • Manage overall renewal process

  • Act as a strategic advisor and primary point of contact, advocating for your customers internally.

  • Collaborate with customers on their broader digital strategy, aligning Gravitee to long‑term business goals.

  • Lead regular customer reviews, roadmap alignment sessions, and value realisation discussions.

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and expansion by identifying areas for growth and engagement.

  • Work cross‑functionally with Product, Engineering, and Support to resolve issues and deliver strategic outcomes.

  • Maintain a deep understanding of Gravitee’s platform and how it solves complex, real‑world challenges.

  • Identify and mitigate risks to customer adoption, satisfaction, or renewal.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
  • 3+ years of experience in a Strategic Account Management role.

  • Proven track record of managing enterprise relationships with a strategic lens.

  • Strong understanding of API management, developer ecosystems, or related technologies (not mandatory but a plus).

  • Professionally bi‑lingual in German and English

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Comfortable navigating technical conversations, while maintaining a business‑value focus.

  • Highly organised, proactive, and driven by outcomes.
