HRIS Analyst - Permanent - Belfast

MCS Group is delighted to partner with a global organisation as they look to add an HRIS Analyst to their team, in this full‑time, permanent opportunity.

The role:

This role is ideal for someone with a background in HR or People Operations who has moved into (or is looking to deepen) the people analytics and HRIS space. You will work closely with stakeholders across the People team to turn workforce data into meaningful insights, recommendations, and reporting that support თავდ effective people decision‑making.

The main responsibilities:
  • Act as a key partner to the People team, translating people and workforce questions into clear analytics, reports, and actionable insights.
  • Design, build, and maintain people analytics dashboards and reports, with a strong focus on insight, trends,Tanggal, and recommendations rather than raw data.
  • Own and develop Workday people reporting, including Advanced and Matrix reports, dashboards, worksheets, and discovery boards.
  • Support workforce planning, talent, DEI, absence, turnover, and performance reporting within the People function.
  • Produce business‑as‑usual (BAU) people reports and respond to ad hoc analytics requests from HR and senior stakeholders.
  • Interpret people data to highlight risks, opportunities, and patterns, providing clear narrative and recommendations to support decision‑making.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for people data, HR systems, and reporting standards, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and strong data governance.
  • Identify data quality issues within Work classy and partner with HR and systems teams to resolve and prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure all reporting and analytics comply with GDPR, internal controls, and data security standards.
The ideal candidate:
  • Experience in a People, HR, or HR Operations role with a strong focus on analytics, reporting, or HR systems.
  • Hands‑on experience using Workday for people reporting and data analysis (essential).
  • Strong understanding of people processes and workforce data (e.g., headcount, attrition, absence, performance, diversity).​
  • Confident turning data into insights and recommendations for HR and business stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience using Power BI or similar analytics/visualisation tools.
