- Receive and sign for all incoming mail.
- Book all relevant tracked mail onto the system and sort for delivery.
- Receive and redirect couriered items as necessary.
- Deliver post and couriered items to relevant drop-off points.
- Collect, sort, and deliver all internal post.
- Assist in franking mail for Royal Mail collection.
- Process outgoing couriered items using DHL and DMD.
- Use Post Room van to collect and deliver post from satellite units.
- Help keep the staff list up to date.
- Collect and record monies from employees for personal post.

We are recruiting for a Post Room Assistant to join our fantastic Services team in Woking. As the Post Room Assistant you will be expected to provide a high level of service to each of the companies within the McLaren campus. You will do this by providing daily postal duties and sending items worldwide using DHL.
- To receive and sign for all incoming mail.
- To book in all relevant tracked mail onto the system, and then sort, along with normal mail into the relevant pigeonholes ready for delivery.
- To receive all couriered items for the appropriate companies covered by the post room, and redirect deliveries where necessary.
- To book all parcels received, onto the tracking system, and then sort into relevant delivery piles.
- To deliver the post and couriered items to the relevant drop off points around the building.
- To collect, sort and deliver all internal post.
- To assist in the franking of all mail, and sort it into the relevant areas ready for collection by Royal Mail.
- To process all outgoing couriered items using DHL and DMD for all Automotive and Group requirements.
- You will be based at the McLaren Technology Centre.
- To use the Post Room van to collect and deliver post from the other McLaren satellite units around Woking.
- To help with keeping the list of staff up to date.
- To collect monies from employees for their personal post as required, and record the information on the accounts list.
- Good time keeping
- Forklift training is an advantage
- A knowledge of Excel
