Qualifications

  • Experience in working with youth in an educational setting.

Contract Type: Fixed Term (to cover maternity leave) | Contract Term: Part time (hours to include cover of before school study sessions)

Salary Range: £27,254 – £28,598 (pro‑rated based on hours worked)

This post will be required from February 2026 for a fixed term to cover maternity leave. We welcome both full time and part time applications.

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual to work with our Deputy Head (Pupil Premium) to remove barriers to learning and provide targeted support that helps Pupil Premium students achieve their potential. This position provides the opportunity for the successful candidate to make a real difference to student achievements and life chances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with teachers to identify and deliver the right support for Pupil Premium students
  • Plan, monitor and review individual intervention programmes
  • Support before school study sessions
  • Work with Heads of Year and other staff to identify students needing additional help
  • Mentor students to understand barriers to learning and find solutions
  • Analyse progress data and report on the impact of interventions
  • Maintain effective communication with students, parents and staff
  • Help students develop independence, meet deadlines and stay on track to achieve their goals
