HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver – Day Shifts, Flexible Start Times
Job summary
A leading logistics provider in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver for a permanent position. The role includes the collection and delivery of goods, ensuring compliance with driving regulations, and communicating effectively with clients. Applicants must possess a full UK Class C+E Licence, a valid CPC, and HIAB Licence. This position offers great flexibility with Monday to Friday shifts and a competitive rate of £15 per hour. Qualifications
- Full UK Class C+E Licence required.
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card needed.
- HIAB Licence is mandatory.
- Experience with forklift reach and counterbalance is preferred.
- Driving record must have less than 6 penalty points.
Responsibilities
- Complete collection and delivery of goods efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with all legal driving regulations.
- Maintain a clean vehicle and secure goods during transport.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding delivery details.
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles as necessary.
