Job summary
A waste management company in Wolverhampton is seeking a reliable Site Operative to support daily operations. You will be responsible for sorting, bulking, and preparing waste for disposal, ensuring safe storage, and assisting with vehicle loading/unloading. A full UK driving license is essential, while experience in a similar role is beneficial. Join a team committed to safety and sustainability. This role operates Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM.
Qualifications
- Experience of working within a similar environment would be beneficial.
- Full UK driving license is essential.
- FLT license is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Sort, bulk, and prepare waste for offsite disposal.
- Ensure all waste is stored safely in designated areas.
- Offload/load vehicles with a forklift.
- Assist drivers with loading/unloading vehicles.
- Inform technical team when loads need to be booked out.
- Fulfil orders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Look after related plant and equipment.
- General housekeeping on site.
