Head of School: Mrs Casey Cox

• Work closely with the class teacher to provide general support for learning
• Have a confident grasp of English & Maths
• Show initiative and understanding
• Be resilient, flexible, patient and engaging
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be able to engage and motivate children to learn
• Work well as part of a team and independently
• Be committed to our Christian ethos

• Assist children in selecting their meal and sitting in an appropriate place in the dining hall, sandwich room
• Assist children with eating their meal if applicable
• Clear tables when meals are finished and clear up any associated spillages
• Enforce the necessary sanctions for maintaining good order
• Administer basic first aid as required
• Keep daily records of first aid administered, behaviour and sanctions employed, together with any other relevant records that may be needed
• Provide pastoral care, guidance and routine advice to pupils as appropriate
• Lead games and activities with the children where necessary and appropriate
• Alert Senior Midday Assistant and/or the Headteacher of any concerns regarding an individual child or group of children

We are seeking to appoint a friendly, hardworking and enthusiastic learning Support Assistant who can effectively support children with varying needs. Experience is preferable but not essential.
