Job summary

A prominent NHS trust in Brighton is seeking a dedicated Senior Therapeutic Radiographer to join their team. This full-time position involves providing excellent radiotherapy services within cancer care, supporting patients and working alongside a multidisciplinary team. Applicants should have a BSc in Therapeutic Radiography, relevant clinical experience, and be HCPC registered. The role offers a salary ranging from £38,682 to £46,580 per annum with the opportunity for ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 18 months clinical experience is required.
  • Must cope with workload of distressed cancer patients.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) is necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional radiotherapy services covering planning and treatment.
  • Liaise with multidisciplinary teams effectively.
  • Make judgements for treatment fitness prior to sessions.

Skills

Advanced clinical knowledge of radiotherapy procedures
Ability to use electronic imager
Clinical judgement in treatment adjustments
Ability to analyze blood/urine sampling results

Education

DCR[T] or BSc (Hons) in Therapeutic Radiography
HCPC registration
