An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Architectural Technologist to join our professional Technical Team based in Letchworth, Hertfordshire.

• Reporting to the Technical Manager, prepare and issue detailed house type designs in line with the agreed programme.
• Ensure designs meet the Company’s standards, regulatory and technical requirements.
• Work closely with site, attending when required, to oversee projects and ensure compliance with technical designs.
• Coordinate external consultants such as ecologists, architects, landscape architects and structural engineers.

• Hold an Architectural Technology Degree, or equivalent in working experience.
• Experience within the role of a Senior Architectural Technologist, with a consultancy background or a housebuilder with in‑house design.
• Ideally, CIAT chartered, but studies can be fully supported toward this.
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Suite and AutoCAD.
• Ability to produce detailed working drawings and complex construction details.
• Experience in coordinating and checking third‑party manufacturers’ drawings.
• Knowledge of current building regulations and NHBC requirements.
• Ability to coordinate external consultants and utility providers.
• Mentor junior team members.
