DeGould is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Engineering team. The successful candidate will oversee the execution of engineering and software development projects, ensuring delivery against defined plans, processes, and timelines.This office-based role requires a highly organised and proactive individual with exceptional communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for understanding complex systems. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to drive project success and ensure smooth, efficient operations across all stages of delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage engineering and software development projects through full lifecycle delivery, using Agile and Waterfall methodologies as appropriate.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives and quality standards.
  • Track progress, manage risks, and communicate milestones and issues to stakeholders effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Engineering, Technology, Operations, and Product to ensure technical feasibility and seamless delivery.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, providing clear updates on plans, risks, and progress.
  • Gather feedback to support product and process improvements.
  • Support compliance with accreditation, quality management, and company standards.
Skills
  • Proven experience managing complex engineering and/or software development projects.
  • Strong understanding of both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies, with the ability to apply the right approach based on project needs.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across technical and non‑technical teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a proactive approach to risk and issue management.
  • Experience with project planning, budgeting, and resource management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project, Asana).
  • Ability to interpret technical information and translate it into actionable project plans.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and to a high standard of quality.
  • Familiarity with software development processes, engineering principles, and system integration.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, or Scrum Master) is highly desirable.
