Aviation Supply Chain Leader: Compliance & Efficiency
Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee procurement and logistics across UK operations. The role requires proven experience in aviation supply chain management and strong leadership skills. Responsibilities include leading the supply chain team, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing procurement activities, and developing effective inventory strategies. The ideal candidate is proficient with Aerotrac or similar ERP systems and has excellent analytical and communication skills. Qualifications
- Proven experience in aviation supply chain and stores management.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Excellent knowledge of regulatory compliance (UK CAA/EASA Part 145, Part M).
- Skilled in procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
- Proficient in ERP/MRP systems (Aerotrac preferred).
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop all Stores and Supply Chain staff.
- Define departmental objectives, KPIs, and performance standards.
- Oversee purchasing activities and supplier selection.
- Maintain compliance with UK CAA/EASA regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ISO compliance.
